The food here is really good and the staff is friendly. They are open all the time. I sort of has like a dive bar/ restaurant feel to it.
Everything about this place was great. From the friendly service, to the homey atmosphere to the delicious food, we found a real gem!
Best burgers around!! And awesome value!!! Black and blue burger was phenomenal!!! Very nice clean lunch spot!!
Year two of our softball team of 40 descending on the Crippled Bear did not disappoint! Heather took fabulous care of us and reserved the entire outside porch for our party. I didn't think our experience and food could be topped from my previous review, but Heather and her kitchen staff outdid themselves this year. Thank you a million times over; our families are already looking forward to next year.
I love going to the Crippled Bear with my friends from Trout Run, PA. Great country type bar, super friendly staff, with great food. We always get fresh cut fries and corn nuggets. The small fry is literally at least 2 or 3 entire potatoes. Nice selection of micros, including one of my local favorites, Broken Heals from New Trail. Lunch was $20, but I had a beer. The regular Philly steak (onions, peppers, tomato sauce was large. They did mine as a chicken Philly. We were all pleasantly full and ready for a quiet afternoon. Love the winter/Christmas scarves on the deer heads!
Love this atmosphere. Cabin in the woods feel. nice bar tenders. Asked a local for breakfast ideas. Great people here!

We've only been one time, and we will definitely go again! We shared an order of wings, and they were very tasty. My husband thought they were crispier than he preferred, but I thought they were perfect. We each got a burger, and they were amazing! Super flavorful, generously portioned, and presented well. We opted for Brew City fries with a side of cheese, and they were served hot and crisp. I ordered a seasonal drink - I think it was an apple cider caramel cocktail, and it was like a dessert beverage. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the location was clean although it was a bit dark in a way that kind of gave it dive bar vibes. The only drawback I found was that the ladies restroom is single occupancy, and the door was like 18" from patrons seated at a table. It felt strange to be attending to business knowing there were people dining within a couple feet of me and through one door.
